Internet Explorer for Windows, simply click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Internet Options..." Under the "Security" tab, click on "Default Level."

In Safari, click on preferences from the "Safari" menu and choose "Security." Make sure that the checkboxes for Java and JavaScript are selected.

In Firefox for the Mac, click on preferences from the "Firefox" menu and choose the "Content" tab. Make sure to check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.

In order to view some pages properly, you need to enable Java, or JavaScript in your web browser. For more information about Java, click here.

To enable java in your browser follow the instructions bellow. Each web browser is a bit different, but it is essentially the same process.

If you access sites that you trust, then, by enabling Java, your computer will not be at risk.
